As shown below in the flow diagram, the Institute has Departments of Research and both Special Units and Technical Laboratories which, together with its own activity, do support the research done in the departments. On the other hand, the Management includes the administrative and financial work, plus the rest of the tasks needed to keep the research activity well under way. The Director is assisted by the Vicedirector, the Maneger, the Scientific Committe and the Executive Board.
