A Spanish Research Institute has developed aluminophosphate-based materials containing Ti in oxidation state (III), which can be either maintained by keeping them under non-oxidant atmosphere or oxidized to (IV) by exposing them to an uncontrolled atmosphere, anyway leading to unprecedented Ti sites in microporous materials: TiIII(OP)4 or TiIV(OP)4, respectively. They can be used as catalysts in redox and/or acid processes such as production of plastics or fine chemicals. Patent license and the exploitation of the existing know-how are being sought.
The ICP delivers the
scientific capacities and technological achievements of our institute to a wide
number of socio-economic sectors at both national and international levels
(companies, public organisations etc.)
via our Unit of Know-how management (UGC). Our principal objective is to
achieve that research carried out at the ICP-CSIC is transformed into a social,
economical and cultural wellbeing.
